This series of monoprints was created by Stacy Pearl in Santa Fe New Mexico from 2008 to the present. They are printed on Arches paper with natural edges on uncut 30 x 22 sheets. They are printed with both oil and water-soluble inks and some pieces have chine cole images. There is also some evidence of drawn imagery. The inspiration for these pieces comes from a simple fascination with color and shape and it's infinite juxtapositions. Think of them as visual modern poems.
